I just love the way Sam tugs on Dean’s jacket sleeve. It’s sort of a little-kid thing to do, trying to get someone’s attention in that way. Sam is terrified, he’s just realized that monsters are real, there’s a dying girl in front of him, and he has no idea what’s going on. In this universe he and Dean aren’t close. They aren’t touchy-feely at all; in fact, Sam was weirded out earlier in the episode when Dean tried to touch him. But for some reason, when he’s scared, he reverts back to this.
